Breaking Mercedes News – The Mercedes-AMG E63 redesign has arrived
Mercedes has refreshed the most powerful versions of the E-Class. The E63 AMG S.
As soon as BMW introduced the restyled M5 and M5 Competition, its eternal rival responded with redesigned AMG E 63 and E 63 S. Both body versions have been refreshed – limousine and station wagon.
Like the regular E-Class model, the restyled E 63 / E 63 S has undergone similar cosmetic changes.
First of all, there are new headlights and a radiator grille, and the front bumper has been redesigned.
It is similar in the back, where the light groups and the rear bumper have also been restyled. The sedan is also equipped with a small spoiler at the end of the boot lid as standard. This spoiler can be in body color as well as carbon fiber. The interior has been modernized in accordance with the latest stylistic and technological solutions of the German manufacturer, and has the latest generation MBUX multimedia system with two connected digital screens and a new steering wheel.
Under the hood is still a 4.0 twin-turbo V8 which in the base E 63 produces 571 hp (420 kW) and 750 Nm, and in the S variant 612 hp (450 kW) and 850 Nm.
The engine is paired with a 9-speed AMG Speedshift automated dual-clutch transmission, and power is transmitted to all 4 wheels.
